The CR-Touch is Creality’s innovative platform-leveling sensor, designed using insights from millions of 3D printer users worldwide. This next-generation auto-levelling solution offers broader compatibility with more 3D printer models, delivering stability and cost-effectiveness beyond traditional levelling systems.
The CR-Touch sensor performs multi-point detection on the print platform, recording the height at each detection point. Using this data, the system creates a virtual plane and calculates the tilt angle between the nozzle and the platform. This enables automatic levelling compensation, ensuring a smooth and accurate print every time.
Engineered for durability, the CR-Touch is built to withstand over 100,000 uses, making it a reliable choice for frequent 3D printing.
The CR-Touch features a metal probe, which reduces wear and extends the sensor’s lifespan significantly.
Equipped with advanced electromagnetic components and a photoelectric sensor, the CR-Touch works efficiently: when the probe contacts the print platform, the system accurately records the platform’s height for precise levelling.
The CR-Touch is compatible with Creality 3D printers that have a 32-bit motherboard. Be sure to check your printer’s mainboard type (32-bit or 8-bit) before purchasing.Â
Note: The CR-Touch is not compatible with certain models, such as the Creality CR-10 V3. For these models, we recommend using the BLTouch levelling sensor instead.
The CR-Touch is suitable for various build platforms, including:
Setting up the CR-Touch is straightforward: download the CR-Touch firmware from Creality’s official website, copy it to a TF/SD card, and insert the card into the printer’s slot. The firmware updates automatically upon powering up the printer, making setup and maintenance hassle-free.
