Impressive speeds

The FDM printer relies on a high-performance computing processor to achieve a remarkable top speed of 500 mm/s! Elegoo recommends a standard print speed of 250 mm/s for optimal print results.

The processor is enhanced with a specialized motion control algorithm for precise step time calculations, ensuring enhanced motion accuracy.

Silent high-speed mainboard

The powerful ARM 64-bit 1.5G quad-core high-speed silent mainboard guarantees quiet operation and minimal printing noise. Additionally, it offers 8GB of memory and accommodates secure storage for over 400 model files.

Distinct from other Neptune series printers that are compatible with Marlin firmware, both the Neptune 4 and Neptune 4 Pro come with Klipper firmware.

Large build volume

Neptune 4 Pro has a popular FDM 3D printer build volume of 225 x 225 x 265mm, enabling the realization of the most creative 3D concepts.

Sturdy all-metal guide rails

Both the X and Y axes rely on durable all-metal guide rails, enhanced with U-shaped steel wheels for minimized friction and heightened precision.

250-watt heated bed with dual independent heating zones

Neptune 4 Pro features a 250-watt heated bed that rapidly reaches 110°C. It has an intelligent heated bed, featuring two autonomous heating areas: one at 100 watts and the other at 150 watts. This intelligent system significantly reduces power consumption by heating only the necessary area according to the model size.

While configuring slicer parameters, you can choose “intelligent mode.” This mode automatically identifies your model’s size, activating either one heating area for smaller prints or both for different-sized models. Manual control of heating areas is also available via the screen.

Powerful extrusion mechanism 

The Neptune 4 Pro’s distinctive dual gear direct drive extruder, exclusive to Elegoo, is 25% lighter than the Neptune 3 Pro’s extruder. This design guarantees superior extrusion force, achieving a 5.2x extrusion ratio and elevated printing precision.

A diverse range of materials, including PLA, ABS, TPU, nylon, and more, are fully supported.

High-temperature hotend 

The Neptune 4 Pro’s hotend is engineered to withstand temperatures up to 300°C. It features an all-metal high-temperature heat break, alongside a unique air channel design that enhances heat dissipation.

The extended nozzle design promotes thorough filament melting and even extrusion.

Efficient cooling system

The advanced cooling system combines a heat dissipation module with intelligent fan control, ensuring impressive heat management during printing:

  • 4 powerful 4020 fans expel heat during high-speed printing at a maximum rotation rate of 10,000 RPM; 
  • two side-mounted 4015 fans cool the model throughout printing at a maximum speed of 11,000 RPM; 
  • the intelligent fan control automatically deactivates all fans post-printing, conserving energy and reducing noise levels. 

Manual or automatic levelling

The Neptune 4 Pro integrates a high-precision, non-contact levelling sensor, gathering data from 121 points (11 x 11) on the build platform, thereby improving printing success rates.

Effortless model removal 

Thanks to its specialized PEI coating, completed prints can be effortlessly detached from the build platform after the heated bed cools down, without requiring any tools.

Smart features for enhanced convenience and versatility

  • Filament detection sensor: In case of filament breakage or depletion, an error alarm activates, halting the printing process to prevent model errors or filament wastage.
  • Smart resume printing: Following a power outage, printing recommences promptly upon power restoration.

Intuitive 4.3-Inch screen

The magnetic 4.3-inch touchscreen can be mounted on the printer base or conveniently held by hand.

Printing over LAN networks

Illuminated view with LED lights

Neptune 4 Pro is outfitted with LED lights. One LED light is located right next to the nozzle and the light bar with 30 LED lights on the top of the printer frame. Both LED sets can be effortlessly controlled via the touchscreen, enabling simple on/off controls.
