Refill LumberLay

Meet our Refill LumberLay filaments – a unique material that has the look and feel of real wood.

Refill LumberLay filaments were designed to be used with a Master Spool to help reduce waste and improve sustainable 3D printing practices. Moreover, they combine 40% of recycled wood and 60% of PLA filament. Because of this mix, your prints will have the appearance of natural wood, and the physical properties of the product will be extremely similar to natural wood.

Printing recommendations:

• The filament must be dried before use (8 hours at 55°C).
• LumberLay filaments are not compatible with a 0.2 mm nozzle.
• For the best results, print at 200–230°C.
• Recommended printing table temperature is 60°C.
• Use a glass bed, PEI sheet, Kapton, or Blue tape for the build platform with 3Dlac spray.

*Ideal temperature may vary when using different printers.

Our Refill PLA Lumberlay filaments are perfectly compatible with the AzureFilm Master Spool – the only spool you’ll ever need. By using this reusable spool, you can join us in reducing waste and minimising environmental impact.

AzureFilm Master Spool is our reusable spool, which provides a sustainable and cost-effective solution for 3D printing. The spool is a set of two reusable, injection-molded discs. This ensures the high durability and precision of the spool.

By purchasing and reusing our Master Spool you contribute to a cleaner environment while enjoying a reliable and easy-to-use product, compatible with most 3D printers.

Our Refills can also be used with Bambu Lab Reusable Spool.
