Bambu Lab AMS First Stage Feeder

The AMS First Stage Feeder is designed to support the Automatic Material System (AMS) for multi-color and multi-material printing. Each AMS unit contains four first-stage feeders, each equipped with its own motor and gears for actively pushing filament forward or rewinding it onto the spool. The feeder also features a filament detection sensor—once the filament is inserted, it automatically pulls it in. When rewinding is needed, the feeder engages the AMS drive shaft to rotate the spool and retract the filament smoothly.
