PLA Glitter

Introducing our PLA Glitter filaments. This material is made from our PLA Original and contains glitter particles for a more dazzling effect on your prints. Since PLA Glitter is just like normal PLA, it is biodegradable, very easy to work with and gives consistent results.  However, there is one thing to be careful about when printing with PLA Glitter filaments. The glitter particles are slightly abrasive so we recommend using a 0.6mm abrasion-resistant nozzle

LumberLay

Meet our LumberLay filaments – a unique material that has the look and feel of real wood. LumberLay combines 40% of recycled wood and 60% of PLA filament. Because of this mix, your prints will have the appearance of natural wood, and the physical properties of the product will be extremely similar to natural wood. The only downside of this filament is that it tends to wear the nozzle due to its structure. That’s why we recommend using at least a 0.6 mm abrasion-resistant nozzle.

Printing recommendations:

  • The filament must be dried before use (8 hours at 55°C).
  • We recommend using at least a 0.6mm nozzle to prevent clogging.
  • Print at 200–230°C temperature for best results.
  • You do not need a heated bed, however, we recommend preheating your printing table to 50–60°C.
  • Use a glass bed, PEI sheet, Kapton, or Blue tape for the build platform with 3Dlac spray.

*Ideal temperature may vary when using different printers.
