Mainboards

The mainboard is the central controller that coordinates heaters, sensors, motors, fans and communication in a 3D printer. Replacing it can solve electronics failures or enable an upgrade, but compatibility is critical. Check the exact printer model, board revision, voltage, connectors, stepper-driver configuration and firmware support before ordering. A board that physically fits may still require different wiring or firmware. Installation involves mains-adjacent and high-current circuits in some printers, so follow the manufacturer's service instructions and disconnect power completely before working on electronics.
