Hardened Nozzles

Hardened nozzles are designed for abrasive 3D printing materials that can wear standard brass-style nozzles over time. Carbon-fibre composites, glow-in-the-dark filament and some other filled materials contain particles that repeatedly pass through the nozzle and can enlarge a softer orifice. A hardened or abrasion-resistant nozzle helps maintain dimensional consistency for longer. Choose the diameter according to the filament recommendation; AzureFilm recommends at least 0.6 mm for its carbon-fibre range. Verify hotend and thread compatibility before ordering and recalibrate nozzle-related settings after installation where necessary.
