Bowden Tubes

A Bowden tube guides filament through a low-friction path from the extruder toward the hotend on Bowden-style systems and in some multi-material setups. Over time, tubing can wear, deform, become contaminated or lose a clean fit at the couplers, leading to extra friction and inconsistent extrusion. Choose the correct inner and outer diameter, material and length for your printer. Cut tube ends squarely and seat them fully in compatible fittings to minimise gaps. Check temperature limitations if the tube extends close to the hot zone.
