PLA Transparent
PLA Transparent combines easy PLA printing with a translucent color effect that lets light pass through the print. It is simple to use, beginner-friendly and works well on most standard FDM printers without an enclosure.
The transparent finish gives prints a clean, bright and visually lighter look, making it ideal for lamps, vases, ornaments, display pieces, decorative models and creative projects where light and color matter.
02 HELPFUL REMINDERS
Tips & tricks
1. Dry extremely well
Dry at 45 °C for 6-8 h; moisture makes transparent prints cloudy.
2. Use slow clarity speeds
Use 15-20 mm/s when transparency is more important than speed.
3. Use thicker walls for clearer parts
More continuous material paths scatter less light than sparse thin shells.
4. Reduce cooling for clarity
Lower cooling can improve layer fusion and optical clarity.
5. Avoid heated chambers
Avoid extra chamber heat if heat creep appears.
6. Use higher flow for maximum transparency
For clearer transparent PLA, use slightly higher flow and 5 °C more nozzle temperature than PLA Original; do not jump higher unless testing confirms it.
