Refill PLA Silk Rainbow

Refill PLA Silk Rainbow combines the shiny, slightly translucent finish of PLA Silk with gradual color transitions along the filament. As the print uses more material, colors change naturally through the model, so each print can look different depending on its size, shape and filament use.

It is supplied without a disposable spool, helping reduce plastic waste while keeping the same glossy rainbow effect and reliable PLA printing performance.

02 HELPFUL REMINDERS

Tips & tricks

1. Plan for long color changes

The color gradient becomes visible after roughly 250 g of filament use.

2. Use larger models to show the gradient

Tiny prints may only show one or two colors.

3. Defining the shine level

For maximum silk shine, print outer walls at 60 mm/s. Inner walls and infill can print up to ≤ 250 mm/s.

4. Dry gently before printing

Dry at 45 °C for 4 h and store sealed.

5. Check spool color position before starting

The starting color affects the final gradient on the model.

6. Recommended print speed

Use 60 mm/s outer walls for maximum shine and ≤ 250 mm/s for inner walls and infill. Max Printing Speed is the tested ceiling.
