02 HELPFUL REMINDERS
Tips & tricks
1. Dry extremely well
Dry at 55 °C for 6-8 h; moisture makes transparent PETG cloudy and stringy.
2. Use slow clarity speeds
Use 15-20 mm/s when transparency is more important than speed.
3. Use thicker walls for clearer parts
More solid material paths scatter less light than sparse thin shells.
4. Keep cooling low for clarity
Lower cooling can improve layer bonding and optical clarity.
5. Use a release layer on sticky beds
Glue stick can protect PEI/glass from PETG over-bonding.
6. Use higher flow for maximum transparency
For clearer transparent PETG, use slightly higher flow and 5 °C more nozzle temperature than PETG Hyper Speed; do not jump higher unless testing confirms it.
