01 GET TO KNOW

PETG Hyper Speed

PETG Hyper Speed is designed for fast, reliable, and high-quality 3D printing. Engineered for hyper-speed performance, it maintains strong layer adhesion, durability, and smooth surface quality, even at printing speeds up to 1000mm/s.

It combines the toughness of ABS with the printability of PLA, making it tougher than PLA and ideal for functional and mechanical parts. Its chemical, moisture, and temperature resistance ensure long-lasting performance, while slight flexibility helps prevent brittle failures.

Tips & tricks

1. Dry before high-speed printing

Dry at 55 °C for 4-6 h; wet PETG strings and weakens surfaces.

2. Store and print dry when possible

PETG absorbs moisture quickly after opening.

3. Use a release layer on sticky beds

Glue stick can protect PEI/glass from PETG over-bonding.

4. Keep walls quality-focused

Let infill run faster while visible walls stay moderate for cleaner surfaces.

5. Pastel, Skin, and Neon use this data

These variants are grouped under PETG Hyper Speed.

6. Recommended print speed

Use ≤ 300 mm/s for normal prints; Max Printing Speed is the tested ceiling.

REFILLS. Simple. Compatible. Sustainable.

All our filaments are perfectly compatible with the AzureFilm Master Spool – the only spool you’ll ever need. By using this reusable spool, you can join us in reducing waste and minimising environmental impact.

AzureFilm Master Spool is our reusable spool, which provides a sustainable and cost-effective solution for 3D printing. The spool is a set of two reusable, injection-molded discs. This ensures the high durability and precision of the spool.

Any last questions?

Here are some of the most common questions related to PETG material. If you need help with anything else, feel free to contact us! We are real people, and we are happy to help.

PETG is a strong and durable 3D printing material that combines the easy printability of PLA with improved toughness, flexibility and temperature resistance. It is a great choice for functional parts, prototypes and everyday prints.

Yes, PETG is generally easy to print, especially compared to materials like ABS or ASA. It prints best with a heated bed, good first-layer adhesion and slightly slower print speeds for clean results.

PETG is ideal for functional parts, mechanical components, brackets, holders, containers, outdoor-use parts and prints that need to be tougher than standard PLA.

PETG is usually tougher and more impact-resistant than PLA. PLA is stiffer and easier to print, while PETG offers better durability, flexibility and resistance to heat and moisture.

No, PETG usually does not require an enclosure. It has low warping compared to ABS, but stable room temperature and avoiding strong drafts can help improve print quality.

PETG usually prints at a nozzle temperature of around 220–250 °C and a heated bed temperature of around 70–90 °C. The best settings can vary depending on your printer, print speed and filament brand.
