Refill Unset LumberLay
Refill Unset LumberLay combines the natural look and feel of wood-filled PLA with a more sustainable refill format. Made from 40% recycled wood and 60% PLA, it gives prints a warm, organic wooden appearance, while the spool-free format helps reduce plastic spool waste.
As an Unset product, it is made from recycled high-quality material left over during production. Each batch can have a different shade, so the final color may vary, but the printing quality stays the same.
Please note: LumberLay must be dried before use for 8 hours at 55°C and is not compatible with a 0.2 mm nozzle.
02 HELPFUL REMINDERS
Tips & tricks
1. Use a larger nozzle
Use 0.4 mm minimum; 0.6 mm is safer for wood-filled particles.
2. 0.2 mm nozzles are not supported
Wood fill can clog small nozzles.
3. Dry thoroughly before printing
Dry at 45 °C for 4 h and store sealed.
4. Avoid heated chambers
Avoid extra chamber heat if heat creep appears.
5. Purge after wood-filled prints
Purge with standard PLA to reduce residue and dark specks.
6. Recommended print speed
Use ≤ 200 mm/s for normal prints; Max Printing Speed is the tested ceiling.
